Richard Minor
For 16 years, Richard Minor has been an integral part of the Innovative Auto Works team. With over 40 years in the automotive industry, we are blessed to have his experience and expertise when it comes to working on our customers vehicles. Richard began his career the good old fashion way; pumping gas at a service station on the “M” streets in Big D. During this time, he married his high school sweetheart, Linda. After 46 years of marriage, they are proud parents of three kids and nine grandchildren! Richard discovered Schlotzky’s about a year ago, and if you want to see him grin ear to ear on a workday, just show up with an Original…all the way! In his free time, Richard loves working in the garden and fishing, and together with his wife, doting daily on their horses; Assett and Jodi (pictured) ….Now that’s some horsepower!
Barry
Barry celebrates his 3rd year with Innovative this spring, and since his first day on the job has ridden his beloved 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic to work come rain or shine. On the weekends, his wife Diana rides alongside him on her own 2013 Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra. It's not a surprise that Barry's number one Bucket List goal is to ride the whole US and Canada while cruising on his Harley. Barry is a Master ASE technician, loves mint chocolate chip ice cream, and if you're ever up against him in a state fair eating contest – you'll lose. He's a bottomless pit! That man can put away some food.
Ken Verrette
Meet Ken Verrette, our Service Manager and part of the Innovative Auto Works family for 25 years!
When visiting the shop, Ken is usually the first person you will encounter. He has a friendly demeanor, great sense of humor, and his knowledge helps customers feel comfortable and confident when making important decisions about the service and repair of their vehicles. Ken and his wife Tracie live in McKinney and celebrated 10 years of marriage in February of 2019. In August of 2017, they were able to officially adopt their foster daughter, Stacie. Ken also has four other children and six grandchildren. Ken loves NASCAR. Taking laps around the track at Texas Motor Speedway was a highlight of the year. If you want to make his day - bring him a Dr. Pepper when you come in to get your car serviced.
