Bringing my truck into Innovative is kind of like going to see my favorite relatives which are few in number. And to draw a parallel, since favorite relatives are few in number, the men at Innovative represent what is really uncommon in the world of auto mechanictry. They are respectful, thoughtful, and interested professionals who are transparent about all their work. If anyone out there is reading this review, then consider your past experiences with mechanics and assess if any of the following is true: (1) The owner is never present; (2) The guy at the front had a bad weekend and his headache has overtaken his ability to say "good morning," and he says "good morning" when he is really thinkin "go to hell"; (3) When asking for something small, the guy at the front evades and instead of walking outside with you (like Ken does) to check on the matter with your car, he says "We'll, look into it"; (4) You really never meet the person who actually does the work on your vehicle. Now, these items may not actually reflect your value system, but for us males, the kind of stuff above is what really gives you confidence. Oh, did I miss one? You bet! How about the upselling and the over diagnosing and the worried look the guys up front who are non-mechanical and really more of a sales pitchman to get more money for the absentee owner. And how about all the smoke breaks and being charged for a full hour when they only spent 30 minutes and 15 seconds to get it over that half mark? Well, methinks I, by way of ridicule of others, have made my argument that Innovative is far above average and possibly in the top ten percentile nationally. I leave it up to you to decide for yourself.
